Apple iPhone 7 and  iPad Pro will housed with Liquidmetal

Apple's new iPhone 7 and  iPad Pro will be housed with the same high tech metal called "Liquidmetal".

Iphone 7 and Ipad Pro case is drawing attention from experts and fans due to the alleged high tech metal used for the new gadget series. Will this new material make any difference?

Apple's "bendable" iPhone 6 was considered a major flop in its latest iteration though the tech giant attempted to commercialize it as one of the phone's "features."  The brand's charms didn't work particularly well in that scenario. Some attributed the phone's casing with low quality aluminum material and people were quite disappointed with it. This iPhone experience made experts quite pleased with the company's initiative to make a radical improvement in the gadgets' casing.

There have been leaked images of an alleged iPad Pro and iPhone 7 case going around the cyberspace lately. Sources suggest the both devices will be housed with the same high tech metal. This type of metal alloy is said to be 60% more durable than the regular case material they use in previous iPhones. The public will be surprised to know that this mysterious high tech metal has been in existence for the past 15 years and it's called Liquidmetal.

Apple iphone will have Liquidmetal Technology

The Liquidmetal technology has been available in baseball bats, ski sleds and ScanDisk's Cruzer flashdrive.  This type of alloy is more than twice as strong as titanium and three times more elastic than other metal alloys. In comparison, a one-inch wide rod made with Liquidmetal can lift as heavy as 300,000 pounds while titanium could only bear 175,000 pounds. It also possesses flexibility properties same as plastic when it hasn't cooled yet which enables it to be cast in any shape. The US Department of Defense as well as NASA had expressed interests for this unique metal creation. The technology is exclusively licensed to Liquidmetal Technologies and Apple has found a way to be a part of this exclusive deal.

In 2010, Apple was granted a perpetual, world-wide and fully-paid exclusive intellectual property license for Liquidmetal's commercialization.  The upcoming Apple products will possibly be the firsts to sample the impressive metal concoction.  Just in time after the company suffered from the Bendgate controversy.

The inclusion of Liquidmetal in future Apple products shows their dedication to quality even after Steve Jobs' supervision.  The public may be seeing yet another series of videos smashing and crushing gadgets to put the new iPhone case to the test.  Would you do a Bendgate test on your future iPhone 7?
