Micromax Unite 2 getting Android 5.0 Lollipop update from April 7, 2015
Micromax announced that it will be rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its Unite 2 smartphones starting April 7. The company also announced that it has sold over 1.5 million units of the Unite 2 since its launch last year.
Micromax claims that the Unite 2 is one of the top 5 bestselling mobile phone in India. Launched with the aim to remove the language barrier in the country, Unite 2 was the world’s first phone with 21 languages support.
All you need to do is wait for 7th April 2015 and the update will be available OTA (over the air). The device will receive an automatic notification when the update starts rolling. All you need to complete the update process is to connect you device with high-speed internet.
If by any chance there is no automatic notification, you can manually check about the software update by following “ Setting->about phone->software update”.
